Effective Date: October 15th, 2024- These Terms and Conditions govern the First-Time Homeowner Down Payment Raffle organized by Our Financial Health (referred to as "the Company"), located at 8 West 126th Street, New York, NY 10027. By participating in this raffle, you agree to the following terms:
1. EligibilityParticipants must be legal residents of Harlem, NY, currently residing in one of the following zip codes: 10026, 10027, 10030, 10037, or 10039.Participants must be 18 years of age or older.Participants must attend the Financial Wellness and Homeownership Expo on Saturday, November 9th, 2024, to be eligible for the raffle.Employees of Our Financial Health, their immediate family members, and individuals involved in organizing the raffle are not eligible to participate.
2. How to EnterParticipation in the raffle is free of charge.Raffle tickets can be obtained by registering for the Financial Wellness and Homeownership Expo. Attendees will automatically be entered into the raffle when they attend the expo.Only one entry per person is allowed.
3. Drawing and PrizeThe raffle prize is a $20,000 down payment assistance grant, which must be used towards purchasing a home.The drawing will take place on Monday, November 11th, 2024, at 1 PM during a virtual event. Participants will receive a link to view the drawing live.The winner will be randomly selected from the pool of eligible entrants.The winner will be notified via email and phone within 48 hours after the drawing.
4. Use of PrizeThe $20,000 down payment assistance can be used toward purchasing a home in New York State. This includes houses, condos, or co-ops.The prize is non-transferable, and no cash alternatives will be offered.The winner will be required to meet all mortgage qualification requirements as determined by a licensed mortgage provider. If the winner does not meet these requirements, the Company will assist in developing a plan to improve credit and financial standing to qualify for a first-time homeowner mortgage.
5. DisqualificationThe Company reserves the right to disqualify any participant found to have provided false information or who is otherwise ineligible.
6. Limitation of LiabilityThe Company is not responsible for any technical issues or errors that may arise during the raffle drawing, registration, or communication process.The Company is not a mortgage lender or broker. The prize is solely for down payment assistance, and winning the raffle does not guarantee approval for a mortgage.
7. PrivacyPersonal information collected as part of this raffle will be used in accordance with the Company's Privacy Policy. This includes sharing relevant data with trusted third-party mortgage partners to explore financing options. The Company will not conduct a hard credit inquiry during the prequalification process.
8. Dispute ResolutionAny disputes arising in connection with the raffle will be resolved under the laws of the State of New York.
9. ModificationsThe Company reserves the right to modify or cancel the raffle at any time, with appropriate notice to participants.
